Typical Camp Day

Our Typical Camp Day

Campers are greeted by staff who will sign them in, provide a lite-breakfast and fun activities while waiting for camp to officially begin. At 9:30 am, all campers who arrived for pre-camp will be escorted to their assigned unit areas. If you’re coming to camp by car, counselors from your camper group will greet and accompany you to the area where camper friends and counselors are waiting.

Once campers get settled in, it’s then off to Round-Up where all the campers gather together to start the day with skits, songs, cheers, and laughter.

Two activity periods immediately follow Round-Up, with activities that the campers have chosen earlier in the day. These activities can include arts and crafts, drama, yoga, sports of all sorts, playground, climbing wall, music, photography, scrapbooking, and more There are always low and high energy options to meet the campers needs.

Lunch takes place with the entire camp gathering together and enjoying the individual lunches they have brought from home. This is a particularly fun time during the day where campers can expect music, dancing, and lots of spirit!

Following lunch, it’s off to water play, where campers will enjoy water play with sprinklers, giant inflatables and water games on the field!

Campers will enjoy two more activity periods following swim. Activities include arts and crafts, drama, yoga, sports of all sorts, playground, climbing wall, music, photography, scrapbooking, and more. There are always low and high energy options to meet the campers needs.

A cool summer snack follows before the entire camp gathers at the Round-Up area where our enthusiastic campers enjoy recounting their day’s fun, singing with their friends and looking forward to the camp days ahead.

The camp day ends at 3:45 pm as our campers board their buses and cars to return home.

For those campers who are waiting for their family member to pick them up once camp ends, staff will continue the fun of camp playing games, doing arts & crafts and other activities.
